  Superb Judaica spice box (Besamim) in the shape of an articulated fish.
  This traditional liturgical piece used for the Havdalah ceremony is a rare example of early 20th-century Oriental Jewish folk art.
  The fish's fully articulated body is finely crafted in silver-plated metal to replicate the scales. The head opens to reveal the interior compartment for spices. The eyes, mouth, and tail are decorated with small touches of red paint to resemble precious stones.
