DetailsVintage Tahitian table lamp or bedside lamp, dating from the 1960s.
It features an original stylized Tahitian hut design, crafted from carved wood. Its structure evokes Polynesian craftsmanship and exotic decorative souvenirs from the mid-20th century.
At the center of the lamp is a beautiful carved mother-of-pearl, backlit. The design depicts a Tahitian woman on the beach, gazing at the landscape. Once lit, the mother-of-pearl emits a warm, soft light, perfect for creating a vintage decorative ambiance.
This lamp possesses a very particular charm, at once exotic, retro, and handcrafted. It will be perfectly suited to vintage decor, seaside settings, cabinets of curiosities, tropical interiors, collections of Polynesian objects, or a 1960s ambiance.
The lamp is in working order and good overall condition. It has a beautiful patina consistent with its age. As with any antique light fixture, it is advisable to have the electrical installation checked by a professional before daily use.
