DetailsAntique three-light candelabra from the Christofle company, Gallia line, in silver-plated metal with a beautiful blackened patina.
This chandelier features a beautiful Art Nouveau design inspired by the plant world. The structure is formed of flexible, curved stems that unfold into three light arms, each ending in a stylized tulip-shaped candle holder. The base also incorporates a naturalistic design with flowing lines, leaves, and organic forms characteristic of the 1900s aesthetic.
The piece is marked under the foot with two hallmarks:
• Gallia metal, surmounted by a rooster.
• Donkey's head in a lozenge, hallmark associated with the Gallia / Christofle production.
The candelabra dates from the early 20th century, around 1900-1920.
It is a beautiful antique decorative piece, ideal for an elegant table, a fireplace, a display case or a collection of Christofle, Gallia or Art Nouveau objects.
It is in good overall condition, with an antique darkened patina. There are some losses to the silver plating, and slight signs of wear and oxidation consistent with its age. The piece remains stable, decorative, and ready for display.
