DetailsBeautiful Chinese planter in blue and white porcelain, presented on its openwork exotic wood base.
It has a round, flared shape, with a wide, decorative body. The decoration is stenciled in the style of traditional blue and white Chinese porcelain, with a motif of dragons, stylized clouds, and sacred pearls.
Outside, the planter is adorned with Chinese dragons in motion, accompanied by flames and celestial symbols. Inside, the background features a design of dragons battling around a sacred pearl, within a circular medallion.
The dragon is an important symbol in Chinese art: it evokes power, protection, prosperity and prestige.
This piece is very decorative and can be used as a planter, flowerpot, decorative bowl or Asian collectible.
The underside bears an unidentified Chinese mark. The piece dates from the second half of the 20th century.
The exotic wood base is carved and openwork, with curved, scroll-shaped feet. It perfectly showcases the planter and gives it a beautiful decorative presence.

It is in good general condition.
Minor firing imperfections, small black spots, and slight signs of wear are visible on the porcelain. The base has a beautiful patina, with some normal age-related marks.
The whole thing remains stable, decorative and in good condition.
