  Superb antique Paris porcelain bottle, depicting a romantic theatre actor holding a stage mask in his right hand.
  This decorative piece from the mid-19th century (circa 1850–1870) perfectly illustrates the Parisian taste for expressive characters inspired by the theatre and the Comédie.
  
  The actor is dressed in a light blue Renaissance-style suit, adorned with gold motifs, pink sleeves with black polka dots, a white pleated collar, and a beige hat embellished with an orange ribbon. He leans elegantly against a tree trunk that serves as a support for the composition.
  The porcelain, enameled and finely hand-painted, features highlights of fine gold and a bright and contrasting palette typical of Parisian productions (Samson, Jacob Petit, Lemoyne, etc.).
  
  This anthropomorphic bottle, fitted with a cork stopper, was originally used as a liqueur bottle or decorative collector's item.
