• Details
  Beautiful silver-plated metal teapot signed Victor Saglier (1809-1894), a famous Parisian silversmith active at the end of the 19th century.
  His work is now highly sought after for its quality of execution and refined decorative style.
  
  This teapot features:
  • a curved shape typical of the Louis XV / Rococo style,
  • a floral and foliate relief decoration,
  • four richly ornamented, cabriole legs,
  • a domed lid topped with an openwork scroll handle.
  
  Under the base, the manufacturer's hallmark is clearly visible: S in a cartouche accompanied by the number 15010 (see photo).
  
  A collector's item representative of the excellence of 19th-century French goldsmithing.
