DetailsElegant Chinese porcelain ginger jar, globular in shape, with its original lid.
This model is adorned with a rich decoration painted in underglaze cobalt blue, representing stylized flowers and leafy scrolls running across the entire surface of the pot in a style typical of Qing productions.
A frieze of lotus petals at the base and an upper border adorned with decorative arabesques.
The underside bears a six-character seal in blue, corresponding to an apocryphal mark of the Qianlong Emperor (1736–1795), used in the 20th century to evoke the prestige of this dynasty.
