  Elegant and rare table lamp mounted from a Chinese glazed ceramic vase, dating from the late 19th century, under the Qing dynasty (circa 1880–1900), Jiangxi province, Jingdezhen city, a historical center of imperial porcelain.
  
  This vase, transformed into a lamp, has a harmonious form: a tapered body resting on a narrow base, shoulders adorned with two handles shaped like lion muzzles holding rings. The short, curved neck adds dynamism to the whole.
  
  The decor is archaic and consists of four registers:
  • Under the collar: leiwen frieze (Greek motif),
  • On the shoulder: stylized palm fronds,
  • On the belly: intertwined traditional masks inspired by Shang and Zhou culture,
  • At the bottom: stylized lotus panels.
  The whole thing is glazed in a magnificent intense turquoise highlighted with deep black, on exposed ceramic on the reverse (bare clay visible under the base).
  
  The electrical system is old but functional. It can be kept as is or modernized by a professional.
