This decorative bowl is distinguished by a rich central polychrome decoration depicting two children and a dog in a rural scene, in homage to the works of the Spanish painter Bartolomé Esteban Murillo. The whole is framed by a superb decoration of a floral frieze and golden garland on a cobalt blue and ivory background, highlighting the finesse of the enamel work and the quality of the porcelain.
The stamp under the base reads: “CARLSBAD fine porcelain Made in Czecho-Slovakia FSC”, guaranteeing the authenticity and provenance of this beautiful piece of tableware or collectible.
